About Marcovia, Honduras

Marcovia is an autonomous municipality in the Department of Choluteca in southern Honduras, on the Pacific coast of Central America. The municipality has a predominantly agricultural economy, producing tropical fruits such as melons and watermelons, and an important seafood fishing industry.
