Banfu Town belongs to Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, China and is located in the southwest of the Pearl River Delta, with a total area of about 46 square kilometers and a resident population of about 100,000 people. The town is connected to Zhongshan City in the north, Zhuhai City in the south and a tributary of the Xijiang River in the west, making it an important node town in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Banfu takes industrial manufacturing as its leading industry, and has the title of "China's Furniture Industry Town", gathering a large number of furniture, lighting and electronic equipment manufacturers. Banfu also relies on water resources to develop ecological agriculture, aquaculture and flower cultivation on a large scale, and the 105 National Highway and the Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Highway run through the whole area, making transportation convenient.
The town retains the Lingnan water town style, with a dense river network and a green coverage rate of over 40%. In recent years, the town has actively promoted the integration of industrial upgrading and eco-tourism, and constructed several modern industrial parks and wetland parks, forming the characteristics of "integration of industry and city", which is suitable for living and working.
Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. The town's landmarks include a century-old community church and several Victorian-style homes, and the annual fall "Ruby Family Day," which blends elements of local Cajun and Creole culture, has become a shared memory for the surrounding residents. Despite its small size, Ruby epitomizes the serenity of the American countryside with its simple folk and distinctive Louisiana southern flavor.
