The White Pagoda of Liaoning, officially known as "Liaoyang White Pagoda", is an ancient landmark located in Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, not an independent city. The tower was built in the Liao dynasty Qingning eight years (1062), after the Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties repair, the existing pagoda tower for the Liao dynasty original style, about 70 meters high, octagonal thirteen levels, for the dense eaves type brick tower, the tower body layer by layer inward, upright and beautiful. Pagoda body eight sides are equipped with niches, carved inside the sitting Buddha, coercive Bodhisattva, flying statues, exquisite craftsmanship, is a typical representative of the Liao Dynasty Buddhist architecture.
