Alajärvi is a quiet town in the district of Söderbotten in Western Finland, located in the interior of western Finland, about 50 kilometers from Seinejoki. As a typical Finnish lake town, Altejärvi is known for its pristine nature and abundant lakes, the name "järvi" meaning "lake" in Finnish.
