Arnold is located in Anne Arundel County in the central part of the U.S. state of Maryland, part of the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area, about 11 kilometers from the capital city of Annapolis and about 48 kilometers from the Baltimore metropolitan area. As a typical suburban community, Arnold is known for its livable environment and convenient amenities, with a population of about 25,000 (2020 estimate), and most of its residents are middle-class families. The local climate is temperate continental and humid, with four distinct seasons of warm, humid summers and cool, less snowy winters.
