Alyogara (Alyotus) is a border town in southern Lithuania, located about 70 kilometers west of Vilnius on the Neris River, and is the capital of Alyogara County in Lithuania. The city has a long history, having been founded in medieval times as an important trading post and then rebuilt after being severely damaged during World War II. Known for its tranquil nature, surrounded by dense forests and crystal clear lakes, Alyogara is an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts for hiking, biking and water sports. Although small, the city retains a unique cultural atmosphere, with local museums showcasing Lithuania's history and traditions. As the gateway city to Lithuania's border with Belarus, Alyogara blends the diverse flavors of the border region and is a low-key choice for exploring Lithuania's nature and culture.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
