Arba Minch, the capital of the Southern Region of Ethiopia, is located in the southern part of the Rift Valley and is known as the "City of the South". This small city is surrounded by mountains and water, bordered by Lake Abaya in the north and Lake Chamo in the south, forming a unique "gateway to the lakes" between the two lakes, which is an important window for viewing African wildlife. Ruzayevka is an important city and transportation hub of the Republic of Mordovia, Russia, located about 500 kilometers southeast of Moscow. The city is situated on the banks of the Insar River and has a population of about 47,000, with the railroad industry as its core economic pillar. Its name derives from the local 18th century landowner Ruzayev, and the city was officially founded in 1932.
Ruzayevka is located in the central part of the Eastern European Plain and has a temperate continental climate with cold and snowy winters and warm summers. The city is an important node on the Moscow-Kazan railroad line, with a large grouping station and a locomotive maintenance base, and is known as the "Railway Gateway of Mordovia".
