Arba Minch, the capital of the Southern Region of Ethiopia, is located in the southern part of the Rift Valley and is known as the "City of the South". This small city is surrounded by mountains and water, bordered by Lake Abaya in the north and Lake Chamo in the south, forming a unique "gateway to the lakes" between the two lakes, which is an important window for viewing African wildlife. The surrounding Omo National Park is known for its pristine tribal culture and rich biodiversity, attracting tourists from all over the world. As the economic center of the region, Arba Mench is based on agriculture and fisheries, but in recent years, tourism has grown rapidly, making it a must-visit destination for exploring the nature and people of southwestern Ethiopia.
Groningen is an important city on the banks of the Suriname River in Suriname, about 50 kilometers south of the capital Paramaribo, and is the economic and cultural hub of the central region of Suriname. The city has a predominantly tropical rainforest climate, which is warm and humid all year round, and is surrounded by rich natural resources that support its core industries such as bauxite mining and rice cultivation. As a testament to the Dutch colonial period, Groningen has a unique blend of Dutch colonial architecture and Indian, Indonesian and African cultures. Most of the local residents speak Dutch, Surinamese and a variety of dialects, and the streets and alleys are full of the vitality of multicultural collision, which is the ideal place to experience the charm of Surinamese ethnic integration.
