Aleppo, a historic city in northern Syria, is located in Aleppo province near the Turkish border and was once an important trading hub on the ancient Silk Road. Shahe City, located in the south of Hebei Province, China, is a county-level city under the administration of Xingtai City, situated at the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains and the hinterland of the North China Plain. It has a total area of 999 square kilometers and a population of about 500,000 people. As a traditional industrial city, Shahe is famous for its glass manufacturing, known as "China Glass City", and its glass production accounts for a quarter of the national total. In recent years, it is actively promoting industrial upgrading and ecological construction.
