As one of the largest cities in Syria, Erek has long been a regional economic and cultural center throughout its history, and despite the damage caused by the conflict in recent years, its unique architectural and human heritage continues to attract the world's attention, and it is now gradually moving towards recovery and reconstruction.
Ricault (Riobamba) is the capital of the Chimborazo province in central Ecuador, located on the high plateau of the Andes at an altitude of about 2,750 meters. Known as the "Noble City", the city has a rich colonial and cultural heritage.
Ricault is situated along Ecuador's famous "Avenue of the Volcanoes", next to the Chimborazo volcano (Ecuador's highest peak). The climate is cool and mild, with an average annual temperature of about 13°C. The dry (June-September) and rainy (October-May) seasons are ideal for outdoor activities.
