Aleppo, a historic city in northern Syria, is located in Aleppo province near the Turkish border and was once an important trading hub on the ancient Silk Road. This ancient city of more than 8,000 years incorporates the imprints of Arab, Persian, and Roman civilizations, and its magnificent citadel, ancient mosques, and traditional bazaars (such as the Great Market of Aleppo) showcase a rich cultural heritage. As one of the largest cities in Syria, Erek has long been a regional economic and cultural center throughout its history, and despite the damage caused by the conflict in recent years, its unique architectural and human heritage continues to attract the world's attention, and it is now gradually moving towards recovery and reconstruction.
Lianping County is located in the northeastern part of Guangdong Province, belonging to Heyuan City. It is situated at the junction of Guangdong and Ganzhou, with the JiuLian Mountain Range running through the whole territory, which is a typical Hakka area. The county has a forest coverage rate of 73.9%, and boasts natural and humanistic landscapes such as JiuLianShan National Nature Reserve and YanLong Ancient Enclosure House in Peitou Township. Lianping is characterized by ecological agriculture, producing high-quality agricultural products such as eagle's beak peaches, shiitake mushrooms and tea, among which the eagle's beak peaches have been certified as a national geographical indication product. As a place of Hakka cultural inheritance, Lianping preserves Hakka mountain songs, fire dog dance and other non-heritage projects, and the traditional Hakka house complex is unique. In recent years, Lianping has relied on its ecological advantages to develop rural tourism and create the brand of "Ecological Lianping - Recreation and Well-being", which has become an important ecological backyard of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area and a Hakka cultural tourism destination.
