Yushui District is located in the central part of Jiangxi Province, China, and is part of Xinyu City, which is the city's political, economic and cultural center. Located in the Yuan River basin, a tributary of the Gan River, it has a total area of about 1,776 square kilometers and a population of about 800,000 people. As an industrial center, Yushui has iron and steel, new energy and machinery manufacturing as its leading industries, as well as rich agricultural resources, producing rice, citrus and other crops.
