Anse Boulud is a seaside community in Victoria, the capital of the Republic of Seychelles, located in the northeast of Mahé Island. Its name means "beach bay" in French and it is known for its long stretches of white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. As an integral part of Victoria, the area combines the charm of Creole culture with the convenience of urban amenities.
Anse Boulud boasts a natural landscape typical of the Seychelles, including granite reefs, coconut groves and coral reefs. The beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and sunset viewing, and the neighboring Seychelles International Marina with its moored yachts adds to the cosmopolitan atmosphere. The surrounding area offers easy access to landmarks in downtown Victoria such as the Clock Tower, the Market Place and the National Botanical Gardens.
The area reflects the multicultural character of the Seychelles with local restaurants serving Creole seafood. As a combination of residential and tourist area, Anse Boulud retains the tranquility of island life while offering tourist amenities such as hotels and vacation rentals, making it an ideal location to experience the balance between urban and natural Seychelles.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
