Located in the southeast of Madagascar, Ambera, part of the Anosy district, is a quiet town on the Indian Ocean coast. Known for its unspoiled nature and simple local culture, it is an ideal destination for eco-tourism and scuba diving, with its long white sandy beaches and crystal clear offshore waters. Surrounded by tropical rainforests, the town is rich in biodiversity and visitors can encounter unique Malagasy flora and fauna. The local economy is based on agriculture and fishing, with residents growing crops such as vanilla and coffee, while relying on marine resources for their livelihood. Despite its small size, Ambira is a hidden gem for exploring the southeast coast of Madagascar, thanks to its secluded setting and friendly community atmosphere.
Felixburg is a small town in Zimbabwe's Manicaland Province, located in the southeastern part of the country near the Mozambique border, in a highland area with a mild climate. The local economy is dominated by agriculture, mainly growing tobacco, maize and cotton, with a certain scale of animal husbandry. As the commercial center of the surrounding area, Felixburg has a basic market, clinic and educational facilities, but the overall level of development is more limited. There is small-scale gold mining activity near the town, which provides some local employment. Despite its small size, Felixburg maintains a typical Zimbabwean countryside, with most residents being local farmers and herdsmen, a slow pace of life, and natural and humanistic landscapes that have not yet been developed on a large scale, making it a suitable place to experience the traditional culture and natural scenery of the region.
