Ambatolampy is a city in the central highlands of Madagascar, in the Vakinankaratra region, about 67 kilometers west of the capital, Antananarivo, at an altitude of about 1,500 meters above sea level, with a pleasantly cool climate. Famous for its traditional handicrafts, the town is known as the "Pot Capital of Madagascar", where local craftsmen use recycled aluminum ingots to hand-forge a variety of household utensils, from pots and pans to decorative works of art, each of which carries a unique artisanal spirit. In addition to craftsmanship, the surrounding area of Ambarija is covered with rolling rice paddies and hills, and agriculture is another pillar of the local economy. As an important node connecting the interior with the coast, Ambalija retains the simplicity of Madagascar's traditional culture and the vibrancy of its crafts, making it an excellent place to experience local life and crafts.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
