Amadores is not an independent country, but a town in the province of San Luis, Argentina, located in the eastern foothills of the Andes Mountains in the center of the country. The name of the place means "lovers" in Spanish, the altitude is about 800 meters, belongs to the temperate semi-arid climate, the average annual precipitation is about 400 millimeters.
The economy around the town is based on animal husbandry and mining, with marble, granite and other building materials. Agriculture is dominated by olive and grape cultivation, and the locally produced olive oil is of excellent quality. Its proximity to the city of San Luis (the capital of the province) and the Chilesito Nature Reserve has led to the development of ecotourism services.
Amadores retains a strong Creole cultural tradition, with a riding festival and a folk crafts market held every September. With a population of about 5,000, mostly of mixed Spanish and indigenous descent, the community still uses traditional folk art forms such as chacarela music and samba.
The city of San Luis (40 minutes by car) and the province of Mendoza are connected by the RN146 national highway. The nearest airport is San Luis Airport (LUZ) for travelers who want to experience a traditional small town in the interior of Argentina.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
