Aliyu Amba is a town in the Oromia region of Ethiopia, located in the central highlands region of the country, about 150 kilometers north of the capital Addis Ababa. As the center of the local farming community, the economy is based on coffee cultivation, cereal production and animal husbandry, and the surrounding area is covered with rolling coffee plantations, which are part of Ethiopia's premium coffee-producing region. Although small, the town maintains a traditional market culture and community life, and the local population is predominantly Oromo, with Afar and Oromo as the common languages. The natural scenery around Aliyuamba is beautiful, with a unique tropical highland climate and favorable average annual temperatures, making it a window into rural Ethiopian culture and agro-ecology.
Arba Minch, the capital of the Southern Region of Ethiopia, is located in the southern part of the Rift Valley and is known as the "City of the South". This small city is surrounded by mountains and water, bordered by Lake Abaya in the north and Lake Chamo in the south, forming a unique "gateway to the lakes" between the two lakes, which is an important window for viewing African wildlife. The surrounding Omo National Park is known for its pristine tribal culture and rich biodiversity, attracting tourists from all over the world. As the economic center of the region, Arba Mench is based on agriculture and fisheries, but in recent years, tourism has grown rapidly, making it a must-visit destination for exploring the nature and people of southwestern Ethiopia.
