Algarrobo is a seaside city in the Valparaiso region of Chile, about 120 kilometers west of the capital Santiago, known for its long stretches of golden sandy beaches and lively resort atmosphere. It is home to South America's largest private, man-made beach, San Alfonso del Mar, whose 1-kilometer-long artificial saltwater pool attracts tourists from around the globe. The city is surrounded by quality surf spots such as Reñaca and Las Tunas, a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Thanks to its Mediterranean climate, Algarrovo enjoys year-round sunshine and is particularly lively in the summer months (December to February), with excellent hotel, restaurant and nightlife facilities. As one of Chile's most popular seaside destinations, it is ideal for families as well as those seeking relaxation and adventure.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
