Located in the Marrakech-Safi region of southern Morocco, at the foot of the majestic Atlas Mountains, Ait Bahya is one of the traditional Berber villages. It is famous for its well-preserved adobe complexes, unique kasbahs (fortress-like dwellings) and winding stone alleyways, which perfectly demonstrate the wisdom of the Berbers to live in harmony with nature. The village is surrounded by terraced fields planted with olives, apricots and other crops, and the scenery varies throughout the seasons, making it an ideal place to experience Moroccan countryside life. Although not as well known as the neighboring ancient town of Ait Benhaddou, Ait Baha retains a more primitive atmosphere of life, where visitors can taste the traditional Berber cuisine, listen to ancient songs, and feel the deep heritage of North African culture.
The Cuban island of Saetia is not an independent country but part of the Republic of Cuba and is located in the Camagüey Archipelago off the northern coast of Cuba. Known for its pristine natural beauty and rich ecological resources, this island is one of the Caribbean's relatively unexplored tourist destinations. With its white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and dense mangrove forests, the island attracts nature lovers and tourists looking for a peaceful vacation.
Historically used as a private game reserve, Saetia Island is now a national park that protects unique species of flora and fauna, such as Cuban deer and a wide variety of bird species. Visitors can experience Cuba's natural diversity through activities such as hiking, bird watching and scuba diving. Access to the island is mainly by boat from mainland Cuba, making it suitable for ecotourism and adventure travel.
A highlight of Cuba's natural heritage, Cayo Saetia showcases the ecological charm of the Caribbean island and is a great addition to exploring Cuba beyond its popular cities.
