Located in the south of Uruguay, Ejido is a quiet city of about 50,000 inhabitants in the department of Canelones, about 30 kilometers from the capital Montevideo. Known for its pleasant temperate climate and relaxed pace of life, it is surrounded by vast vineyards, dairy farms and grasslands, making it one of Uruguay's most important agricultural and livestock bases. Longchuan County is located in the northeast of Guangdong Province, southeast of Heyuan City, upstream of the Dongjiang River. It is the "Northeast Gateway" of Guangdong and one of the important birthplaces of Hakka culture, and is known as the "Ancient County of a Thousand Years". Since the thirty-third year of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (214 BC) set up the county, so far has a history of more than 2,200 years, is one of the oldest retained county seat in Guangdong, Tuo City in the territory of the former site of Longchuan County in the Qin Dynasty, there are many cultural relics and monuments, such as the King of the wells, Zhengxiang Pagoda. Longchuan is the cradle of Hakka folklore, with a profound Hakka culture and distinctive Hakka characteristics in dialect, customs and architecture. The mountains and rivers in the territory are beautiful, Huoshan is one of the seven famous mountains in Guangdong, and the Danxia landforms and forest landscapes contrast with each other. Economically, Longchuan is actively undertaking industrial transfer and developing industries such as electronic information and intelligent manufacturing, while relying on ecological resources to develop modern agriculture and cultural and tourism industries, making it an important node in the northeast of Guangdong radiating from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
