Located in the southern part of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province, Antu County is located in the hinterland of Changbaishan Mountain, which is the ecological barrier and important gateway to the northern foot of Changbaishan Mountain. With the core scenic spots of Changbaishan Mountain, the county is famous for its natural landscape such as Tianchi, waterfalls and hot springs, and is known as "the first county of Changbaishan Mountain". With a high forest coverage of 86%, Anto has an excellent ecological environment and is an important part of the Northeast Tiger and Leopard National Park, which is rich in wildlife resources. At the same time, it is a place where diverse cultures, such as Korean and Manchu, are integrated, with rich folk customs and unique non-heritage cultures, such as the long encouragement and the Nongle Dance. Relying on ecological and cultural resources, Anto has developed eco-tourism, green agriculture, recreation and vacation industries, and specialty products such as ginseng, blueberries, and fungus are famous both at home and abroad, making it an attractive city combining natural scenery, ethnic culture, and ecological livability.
