Aguada de la Guerra is a small town in La Huaye County, Mendoza Province, Argentina, located in the eastern foothills of the Andes Mountains, near the Chilean border. Its name "Agua de la Gara" means "Water of Gara" in Spanish, and comes from a historic natural spring in the area. The town is about 1,400 meters above sea level and has a typical arid mountain climate with significant temperature differences between day and night.
The area is characterized by magnificent Andean mountain scenery and desert landscapes, surrounded by dry riverbeds and sparse dry vegetation. As the gateway to the Christ the Redeemer Tunnel, an important international link between Argentina and Chile, Aguada de Guerra is a key node on the transnational transportation route through the Andes. Local economic activity is dominated by cross-border transportation services, mining support and limited livestock farming.
Despite its sparse population, the town is an important transit point for International Highway 7 (Argentina's core route to Santiago de Chile), due to its location in the main Andean mountain range at 32°S latitude. Historically used as a resting place for Inca and colonial mule caravans, the town still retains the appearance of a simple frontier post, providing basic supplies to truckers.
Located in the northwestern part of Guizhou Province, Rhenhuai is a county-level city in the middle reaches of the Chishui River Valley, and is known as the "Liquor Capital of China". As the core production area of the world's saucy liquor, Renhuai is famous for Moutai, and the unique climate, water and glutinous sorghum with red tassels have nurtured the unique flavor of saucy liquor. In addition to Moutai, Rhenhuai has gathered thousands of liquor enterprises, forming a complete industrial chain of soy sauce liquor. There is not only a deep wine culture here, but also the Maotai Town Tourism Zone, the Red Army's Four Crossings of the Chishui Memorial Site and other humanistic landscapes, attracting countless tourists every year to visit and feel the charm of "Rhenhuai, the wine".
