Al-Ajyaz is a city in Egypt's Eastern Nile Governorate, located south of the Nile Delta and about 150 kilometers from the capital, Cairo. This historic city is known as one of the "Breadbaskets of Egypt", with agriculture as its core industry, producing sugarcane, cotton and rice.
