Located in the northwestern part of Xing'an League in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, Aershan is a border tourist city famous for its forest ecology and volcanic landscape. As an important ecological barrier in Inner Mongolia, it is known as the "Switzerland of the East" for its pristine forests, volcanic relics, mineral springs and snow and ice resources, as well as its distinctive landscapes in all four seasons.
The whole area of Aershan is covered with forests of the Daxingan Mountains, and there are volcanic geological wonders such as Tianchi, Shitanglin, and Azalea Lake, as well as world-class mineral springs and therapeutic resources. The snowy period in winter lasts up to 7 months, and there are professional ski resorts. As a multi-ethnic area inhabited by Mongolians, Han Chinese and other ethnic groups, the local area retains a unique forest culture and border flavor, and the Sino-Mongolian port of Arshan-Songbelt further enriches the cross-border tourism experience.
Aershan is conveniently located with a civil airport and railroad station, and a road network connecting popular destinations such as Hulunbeier and Xilingol. Core attractions include the Aershan National Forest Park, the White Wolf Peak Scenic Area and the Wonders of the Frozen River, which are suitable for year-round ecological sightseeing, hot springs recreation and ice and snow sports, making it an important ecotourism demonstration area in northern China.
Located in the eastern part of Hong Kong's Kowloon Peninsula, Kwun Tong was one of the earliest industrial areas in Hong Kong, and has been transformed into a diversified area with commercial, residential and creative industries. As an important hub of Kowloon East, Kwun Tong enjoys a convenient transportation network with the MTR Kwun Tong Line running through it, connecting Hong Kong Island with the New Territories. With the Kwun Tong Commercial Center as the core, the district is home to many corporate headquarters, shopping centers and creative parks, including the Kwun Tong APM, which is a trendy landmark for young people.
