Achham is a border city in the far western region of Nepal, located on the border with the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, in the Saheb district. The city is situated in the extension of the Terai Plain, which is relatively flat and has a warm and humid climate suitable for agriculture, and is one of the major producers of rice, wheat and pulses in the region. Achham has a diverse population, predominantly ethnic Tharu, and retains a distinctive culture of traditional practices and festivals, such as the Tharu harvest festival of "Saenti". As a regional center of commerce, it maintains a vibrant trade with the Indian border, while its untouched and unspoiled natural landscape attracts a small number of backpackers looking for tranquility. Despite its relatively simple infrastructure, the warmth and simplicity of the locals and its rich cultural heritage make Achham a window into western Nepal.
Malling is a town in the municipality of Aarhus in the Danish region of Central Jutland, located about 20 kilometers south of the city of Aarhus. As an important part of the Aarhus metropolitan area, Malling is known for its natural beauty and convenient location.
