Abaga Banner is located in the north-central part of Xilingol League in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, on the southeastern edge of the Mongolian Plateau, with a total area of about 27,500 square kilometers. Characterized by grassland ecology and Mongolian culture, the flag is a typical pastoral flag county, with animal husbandry as the economic pillar industry. It has the core area of the Xilingol Grassland, with magnificent natural scenery and green grass in summer, making it a popular destination for ecotourism and grassland experience.
Abaga Banner has a long history, and the traditional Mongolian culture is well preserved, with non-heritage cultures such as the Naadam Assembly, Mongolian Long Tune, and the art of the Horse-head fiddle being passed down here. Transportation is mainly by road, connected to Xilinhot and other cities via the G207 National Highway. Local specialties include beef and mutton, dairy products and handicrafts, making it suitable for cultural exploration and nature sightseeing.
Golmud, located in Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is an important transportation hub and emerging industrial city on the Tibetan Plateau, known as the "City of Soldiers" and "China's Salt Lake City". This city is located in the southern edge of the Qaidam Basin, named after the Golmud River, meaning "dense river place", is the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, Qinghai-Tibet Highway, Gedun Railway intersection, bear the important function of the transit of materials into Tibet and the strategic location. Surrounded by natural landscapes such as Charkhan Salt Lake, Kunlun Mountains and Coco Sicily, Charkhan Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in China, rich in salt resources, forming a unique salt lake industrial system. Golmud is not only the "throat" connecting Tibet and the mainland, but also the gateway to experience the magnificent scenery and multiculturalism of the Tibetan Plateau.
